Wildlife has always been a passion for me. I remember as a child - the thrill of seeing badgers, foxes and hedgehogs or newts, frogs and toads in our pond and hand rearing baby birds. The passion for
wildlife has never left me. After climbing "the corporate ladder" in marketing and sales, I decided that there was "more to life" and, left the rat-race to work for myself and began volunteering for the local wildlife trust. Fifteen years later and I have been fortunate enough to have worked for some of the leading wildlife charities - helping British wildlife, but also elephants, tigers, lions, rhino's and Pangolins (to name a few), but one of my favourite achievements was being a part of the Team Badger coalition, a unique group working tirelessly to stop the unnecessary and unscientific badger culls. That is when I first met Anne and begun to understand her huge passion for wildlife and the amazing work she did at Harper Asprey Wildlife Rescue. Now, I am fortunate enough to be working with her as we continue to fight for native wildlife especially our beautiful badgers and fabulous foxes.
What am I good at? I don't panic (much!) and I'm generally well organised and I get things done, oh yes - I'm pretty good at saying sorry........not so good? - Oops! Drop-sies! - I've already been banned from "Steve's building team" after dropping our new kitchen worktop - sorry guys.
