Hedgehog: Dennis

This little sweetheart is eating like a pig after being brought into us. Hedgehogs, in general, have massive appetites and seem to constantly be

hungry. We monitor their diets closely whilst they are in our care so they do not become overweight! Babies do need a lot of food to be able to grow at a rapid pace to survive in the wild, however, they don't quite seem to know when enough is enough!

This little one has yet to be named but I am sure it will not be long before we find the perfect one!

*UPDATE*

We have named this little boy Dennis. We ummed and ahhed over various names but this one seemed to fit nicely :)

OUTCOME:

.... will be released with our others when the weather is warmer for them. We either release them back to the gardens that they came from initially or into alternative, suitable release sites.
