Sally-Ann Feldwick

Nature and Wildlife have always been a massive part of my life, having grown up playing on the beaches and broads near the Norfolk coast, even the local primary school was

very Wildlife orientated.

When I was young I watched my mum & dad hand rearing orphaned birds & generally caring for all the Wildlife in our garden, we had dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils & fish. The house was always full of animals and in nearly all photographs of me as a child I am holding either a cat, dog, rabbit or guinea pig. I had no interest in dolls.. why would I when I had real creatures to care for and nurture!

In 2008 I moved to Surrey with my fiancé and in 2009 I was lucky enough to meet Anne and start volunteering for the rescue. I now have a 4 year old son who also enjoys  "helping the animals" at events - no one shakes a collection box quite like him! With another baby on the way I am slowly generating more volunteers to one day help care for our beloved wildlife. Volunteering around a young family is difficult but there is always something that can be done to help so before suffering severe morning sickness I spent my spare time researching funding, helping at events & collecting injured birds/ animals from local vets.

I excel at - Talking (maybe a little too much...) and love meeting new people

I don't excel at - Morning sickness has unfortunately made me highly unreliable / useless - but my regular newspaper supplies have helped make up for it!
