Hedgehog: Maude

This hyperthermic and poorly hedgehog, Maude, was found wandering around a busy road during the day. We kept her on our desk so

we could keep a very close eye on her. However, it seems Maude decided to keep a closer eye on us!

Maude is one of many young hedgehogs undergoing treatment here who will reside with us over the next few months during the cold weather. They are just not big enough to survive the cold winter months with a lack of natural food.

If you have any newspapers that you are getting rid of then please do message us and arrange to drop them off with us. Maude and her friends need lots and lots of them!! Thank you xx

Maude was released with another male hedgehog who she had paired up with, into one of our designated release sites. We wish them both the best of luck, and since it is coming up to breeding season we are keeping our fingers crossed!!
