Vole: Felicity

This young mum and her family were made homeless when an area was being cleared at Legoland. The quick thinking, wildlife friendly staff

removed the entire family before any other work was carried out and kept hold of these bank voles until a safe place to release them was found. We very rarely see voles here in the rescue but what cute little faces!

OUTCOME:

We kept them for a little while, just until the babies were old enough to leave the nest and fend for themselves before returning them back to their home at Legoland. One of the lovely staff members came to collect them and we advised them on the best places to release them into - close to where they were found - and how to continue to monitor the family for the next few weeks.
